Saigon, Vietnam

Designed with a "bachelor" type of end client in mind, the unit was radically gutted out and emptied of all walls, saved for the bathroom enclosure. In place were two new structural portals, strategically cast into place to visually divide the large area into a more intimate setting. Existing plaster was ripped off one of the side wall as a feature, exposing the original red brick texture. Grey cement screed with some hexagonally cement tiles, enhances the rustic and raw vibe of the space. Antique solid wood glass cabinets form the new screen walls as well as function as the wardrobe and pantry unit.

Area: 600 sq ft
