The typical Vietnamese shophouse tends to be long, narrow, stuffy & dark, with multiple tiny-sized rooms cramped and lined up along a long corridor, with just one shared bathroom every 2 floors. Our challenge in this case, was how to bring natural light into the darkest middle parts of building as well as creating stunning ensuite bathrooms for every room, with breather space to enjoy and function as a home.
